EN The sun colors what we see. Shadows stretch out, contours dissolve, tones shift unnoticed. Yet we take its daily rise and fall for granted. It is a repetition so familiar that we almost forget how special it is that light shapes the world each day.
These pictures are mad during my residence in Wales.

NL De zon kleurt wat we zien. Schaduwen worden langer, contouren vervagen, tinten veranderen ongemerkt. Toch beschouwen we haar dagelijkse opkomst en ondergang als vanzelfsprekend. Het is een herhaling die ons zo vertrouwd is dat we bijna vergeten hoe bijzonder het is dat het licht de wereld elke dag vormgeeft.
Deze foto's zijn gemaakt tijdens mijn residentie in Wales.
